Though the date of Thanksgiving Day differs in many countries but its purpose for celebration is the same for all. In United States, it is celebrated on 4th Thursday of November while in Canada; it is celebrated on 2nd Monday in the month of October. In India, the day is celebrated with as a religious part and it differs in different countries.

Thanksgiving is usually a family day, celebrated with big dinners and joyous reunions. The very mention of thanksgiving often calls up memories of kitchens and pantries crowded with good things to eat. As it is the day of prayer and rejoicing, all are busy in enjoying the day with their family, friends and delicious meal. This day has great importance we take one day out to thank our God for all he has given to us. The importance of this is also to the fact that we feel grateful to everyone we know. Seeing the value of this day, some companies have adopted the practice of sending Thanksgiving cards to express their gratitude to their customers and business associates. Thanksgiving card may not have been part of history but it is a special way of thanking the people and making them realize that you care their presence.
